Welcome to "20 Positive Affirmations "for Teenagers Coping with Morning Anxiety."
This is a great self-care practice to do each morning even when you don't feel anxious.
→ If you'd like to track your practice, I recommend making a note of how anxious you feel each morning before you complete this exercise, using a scale of zero to 10, and see if there are any patterns to what impacts your rating over the course of the day.

As I share each affirmation, I'd like you to repeat it for yourself. You can do this silently, write them down in a journal, or say them out loud to yourself in a mirror.
Your mind believes what you tell it and it can take five positive thoughts to counteract one negative thought.
So let's begin:
My anxiety is only there to alert me of potential danger, it does not control me.
I get to decide how I will respond to my anxiety.
This moment will pass and I will be okay.
I have survived every day and I will survive today.
My body is strong and protects me from danger.
Just because I have a problematic thought doesn't mean that I have to continue to believe it.

7. My thoughts are like my clothes, if I don't like how this one fits, I can choose another.
8. I am worthy of love, care, and appreciation.
9. My words are important and meaningful even if I choose to keep them to myself.
10. I am learning to love and appreciate myself more every day.
11. My anxiety is a superpower that helps me plan and prepare.
12. Asking for help does not make me a burden or too much.
13. Taking time to rest and breathe helps protect my energy.
14. I can show up as myself as I am.
15. I matter.
16. I am not stuck and I have options.
17. I'm allowed to accept help from others.
18. Just because I can do something, doesn't mean that I have to be the one to do it.
19. I am allowed to say no.
20. I trust myself to guide me to the decisions that are best for me right here, right now.
Thank you so much for joining me in completing this mindfulness affirmation practice.
