Ever wish you had someone who would listen to all your problems and always have your back?

That’s Literally My Job!

These days, it’s easy to find yourself feeling stressed out, overwhelmed, and irritable all the time.

Studying and good grades used to come easily, but now it’s difficult to focus and get your assignments done.

You used to look forward to things like dance class, soccer practice, or going to the movies, but now you just can’t seem to get excited about anything.

When you were younger, everyone in your class was a friend, but now you’re realizing maybe good friends aren’t supposed to treat you this way.

You don’t want to spend your teenage and young adult years alone, but you also don’t want to spend them like this, either.

You Know You Deserve Better and You Are Ready for a Big Change!

 Hi, I’m Mallory!

My pronouns are she/hers and I am here to help you improve your mental health.

You should know right away that I’m not the kind of therapist who wears cardigans and bobbles my head as you tell me all about your crisis of the week….

I’m much more interested in helping you make real, life-lasting changes. 💛

That means we’ll be digging in deep and getting real about how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors impact your experiences.

You can stop ending up in the same problematic situations + relationships you keep finding yourself stuck in.

I know you’re a phenomenal human being. I’m here to help you discover those intuitive superpowers that already exist within you.

There Is Hope!

When you’re feeling stressed out and overwhelmed, your moods, thoughts, and feelings can dramatically change with little or no warning.

As a result, you may find yourself experiencing one or more of the following:

😖 anxiety or panic attacks

😭 feeling depressed and lonely

🤬 or just feeling really angry and irritable all the time.

You may have even considered harming yourself or even ending your life because it all just felt too much.

→ Therapy can help you learn WHAT you’re feeling and how to EXPRESS them safely.

Ready to Feel Better?

The rates of teens diagnosed with anxiety and depression are Rising!! Big Yikes! 😳

As a result, the number of teens experiencing difficulty around self-injury and suicidal thoughts/actions continues to rapidly increase as well.

Before opening the doors to this practice in 2014, I was an Emergency Mobile Psychiatric Services (EMPS) clinician. My job was to assess and stabilize teens in crisis and then link them up to ongoing care.

But I was having a really difficult time finding therapists who felt comfortable and confident working with teens struggling with self-harm urges and suicidal thoughts…

They were scared, but I am NOT afraid!

I want to stop that trend by providing quality mental health services to teens NOW so they can enjoy a healthier, happier, and more fulfilled life. By helping one teen learn the skills they need to hang in there and communicate their feelings more effectively, we inadvertently help all those they engage with on a regular or even one-time basis.

Consider me your guide through the forest.

✨ The Yoda to your Skywalker. ✨

✨ The Dumbledore to your Wizard. ✨

And just like Yoda and Dumbledore, you won’t find me telling you what to do, but rather how to THINK for yourself.

Don’t worry- I won’t leave you without the tools you need to get there.

After all, there’s a reason the teens and young adults I work with call me the Coping Skills Queen! 👸

Want a Sneak Peek about what I mean? Check out these videos!

I can’t wait to guide your healing journey :)

Let me introduce you to the other woman who will help you on your journey:

Meet Dominique

Dominique Coover (she/hers) is the Administrative Assistant for the Counseling Office of Mallory Grimste, LCSW.

She’s likely the first person you’ll talk with because she’s the one who helps answer your phone calls/emails, replies to your scheduling requests, and overall just helps Mallory keep sane so she can keep focusing on helping YOU feel better!

According to Dominique, the best part of being an administrative assistant is getting to meet new people and helping others.

Ready to talk about how we can help?
